The videos don't work! What's wrong?
Our videos use the Flash Video Format (FLV). A technology that provides very good video quality even on a slow modem. You need an actual flash player installed on your system. Well, this is a technology that over 98% off all computers allready have.
Your flashplayer must at least be Version 9.1 or higher.
If you don't have the flash player istalled or need to update, go to Adobe.com and download for free. It only takes seconds.
The video files are quite big, if you have a narrow / slow internet connection, it might take some seconds until the video starts to play.
It is not possible to download our videos or watch them with other players like Quick Time or Windows Media Player.
The video is stopping / hangs from time to time / does not play continuos. What's wrong?
Nothing. The files are quite big and the bandwidth and speed of the internet connection vary. Sometimes the download speed is a little bit slower than the playing video. This causes the player to stop the video until the next portion has been downloaded.
If the occurs, let the video play until end and reload the page again. The video should be played from the "cache" of your browser and play without stopping.
If the video still hangs, it might be your system performance is too low for it.
I have an own video that I made on Morningstarskitours trips. Can I publish it here?

No problem. Send us the video in the best quality you have. We recommend a DV file on a DVD (not a DVD please!) Do not use Quick Time or other encoders to make it smaller!
We have to recode the video for the web and need the best quality we can get. This takes a time.

No, they are totally free visible, unlocked and not encryptet.
This is a question wich many people ask - but the solution is easy: the Adobe (Acrobat) Reader is out of date.
I bet, that you are using a very old version? (Go to "Help" in the Readers menu and click on "about". You will find the installed version.
You need version 7 or later (current version is 9.2) of the Adobe reader to display the PDF files. (Older versions are buggy and insecure. It is strongly recommended to update the reader software.
You can download the latest version directly from Adobe for free.
What does "bookmark this page / share" do?
This area does three things:
1. if you have a browser that is compatible to the Microsoft Internet Explorer the "favorites"-link will add the current page and its brief description to your favorites.
Other browsers might work with it, but this is not guaranteed.
2. The "social bookmark"-icons can be used to save the link to the actual page on your online bookmarking services like del.icio.us. Facebook or Twitter. Theese help you to access your private bookmarks everywhere on the world, because the bookmarks are not stored in the browsers favorites, but online.
Yigg and oher rating systems help to promote interesting pages. (So help us and use them.)
3. You can easily print out the page in a printer friendly version by clicking on the "print" icon.
4. And we are lucky, if you recomment the pages by sending a link to your friends. Just click on the "E-Mail" button.
BTW: not all our pages have this area. Pages in protected areas can not be bookmarked.
Why should I provide a picture at the myDan account?
We linke to know you, people like to know you and the comunity likes to know each other.
Well, of course it is free to provide this picture, it is a well known feature of comunities to provide "avatars". This picture represents you at several places (comming up in future) at our myDan comunity.
So join us and show yourselve.

First of all: Sorry! We try to keep our site as perfect as possible.
But please report your problem or bug to admin@morningstarskitours.com or use the contact form.
You should include a screenshot (just hit the "Print Screen" button on your keyboard and paste it into your email) and a description what is wrong. Helpful for us is to know what browser on what operation system you use.
