All our ski tours offer the savings of group pricing while still affording you as much autonomy and individual freedom as you desire. We do NOT offer micro-managed group tours. It is YOUR ski vacation and there is great flexibility within the parameters of our tours. Of course, we always offer opportunities to participate in special events and activities, but none are mandatory. It’s your week to do with as you please.
*Single occupancy upgrade is $211. If you would like us to find you a same-sex room mate to avoid this added cost just let us know. We cannot guarantee it, but we almost always are able to match people up.
* Price subject to adjustment up or down based on change in the Euro / Dollar exchange rate, t.b.a. at time of final payment.
*IF trip size is below 30 participants, a small-group surcharge of $38 will be added to the final cost per person.
*Price does NOT include air. In every one of our past 21 Europe tours, we included air. This year, for whatever reason, purchasing air outright on line has turned out to be much cheaper than group air held by us. So we changed it up this year and having everyone get their own air. The deals are currently amazing. Folks are flying round trip from the East Coast to Munich for under $500! My wife and I got tickets round trip from Oregon for only $549. It is crazy good deals right now. You just need to get air into Munich, Germany on the correct dates and times.
Of course, we are happy to help you find the air you need. Contact us for details.
Superlatives abound when it comes to Kitzbuhel, Austria… “One of the most beautiful ski regions in the world”. “Site of the most singularly spectacular ski lift in the world: the 3S-Umlaufbahn”. Location of the most famous World Cup downhill course in the world: The Hahnenkamn. Add to this mix 51 lifts, 170 km of slopes, a rocking 700-year-old village with great nightlife, and you end up with a spectacular place to spend a ski week.
Kitzbuhel spans several large valleys all connected by the most modern lift system anywhere. The above-mentioned Umlaufbahn is a one-of-a-kind lift unlike anything else in the world. It spans a huge valley, rises 1,400 feet above the ground, and is supported by only two pylons. The glass-bottomed cars add to the thrill of the ride. The skiing is huge and offers something for everyone. 41% of the trails are intermediate, 45% advanced, and 14% expert. The backcountry we will offer with a guide is immense and easily accessed. Check out this nice video spotlighting this gorgeous ski resort at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ptt2yeyO8aY
EXPERTS: Of course, we will offer guided backcountry skiing. The backcountry skiing in the European Alps is unrivaled and it is the reason Skiman goes back to Europe every year. The terrain is vast and gorgeous, but to ski it safely, you need a local guide. We will organize this for you experts who want to experience some of the finest skiing to be had anywhere. The backcountry of the Alps is stunning, but expensive if done on your own. The guides are over $400 per day. A HUGE advantage to skiing with us is the savings resultant by splitting the cost of the guides among a group.
Kitzbuhel is world-famous and world-class and along with this reputation usually comes a hefty price tag. We have found a wonderful village and a charming hotel that are in an adjacent valley and are a part of the Kitzbuhel lift system. The village of Kirchberg is lovely in its own right and our 4-star hotel, Hotel Bräuwirt (www.hotel-braeuwirt.at) is a family-run Tyrolean beauty set in the middle of this great ski complex. By staying a short bit outside of Kitzbuehel, we are able to save hundreds off the cost of this pricey resort.

Doing BOTH ski weeks: We have many of our skier friends that want to save money and stay for more than one ski week. If you have the resources and the time, this is a great idea. You have to pay to fly over to Europe and back, so the longer you stay, the more value you are getting out of your ticket. You save money on each additional ski week. Take $200 off the added ski week(s) cost, since there is no air component needed. You also save a bundle by not having to pay the air taxes for additional ski weeks. NOTE: For all skiers doing multiple weeks, there will be an additional charge for the connecting charter bus ride between the ski weeks. This cost will be determined at time of final payment and is dependent on the number of participants using this service. Contact us for all the details about doing multiple weeks.
