As you know, Skiman is manic about skiing… can’t quit as long as there is good snow to rip… so: going for one last hoorah!
APRIL 12, THURSDAY – APRIL 16, MONDAY: FLYIN’ TO COLORADO, BABY!
The best snow for spring skiing is always at the highest elevation resorts. We are going back to Breckenridge, Colorado. They are high, have a 72 inch base, and just got 5 inches of new. We will also have the possibility to ski at Keystone, Vail, and A Baisn as well as Breck. Staying in one bedroom condos (2 per unit) in heart of Breckenridge, one of the coolest ski towns in the U.S.
FLIGHTS: you can fly from anywhere.
From Phoenix: Frontier has non-stop flight, Thurs, 4/12 10AM, FLT. # 424, arrive 1245pm… return: Monday, 6:40pm, flt. # 859, into phx 7:30pm. Flights are perfect, especially the return. It leaves late enough so that you can get almost a full day of skiing in on that 4th day. THE FARE IS AN AMAZING $118 ROUND TRIP! But you have to get this very soon. It will go up between now and April 5, so if you want to go, you will need to act soon.
FROM TUCSON: On Thursday, 955am depart, arrive denver 1245pm. The return is not as good as phx if you are hard corp, as you will not get in a 4th day of sking. Lvs. Denver 155pm, return into tus 250pm… cost is very good, currently @$200 round trip! But again: you will lose that last day of skiing.
OTHER DEPART CITIES OR OTHER AIRLINES: no prob, book your own air and get whatever is best to you… But you MUST arrive into
Denver by 1245pm to mesh with the group. Also, your return air has to work with the above air times.
LODGING: very cool condos for two in heart of Breck. Full kitchens, great hot tub, SKI-IN, SKI-OUT!
GETTING TO/FROM DENVER TO BRECK: Once we have the count of skiers, we will rent vans to accommodate everyone and split the cost. This cost is tba (probably @45.00) and is not included in the package price. Note: if we have Tucson flyers, we will organize it so that they will be able to get back in time for their earlier flt.
PACKAGE INCLUDES: 3 out of 4 day lift pass good at Vail, Breck, A- Basin, and Keystone, condo double occ for 4 nights in heart of Breck…
COST: $559 PP, DOUBLE OCC. Single occ $829
WHAT TO DO IF YOU WANT TO GO: CALL OR EMAIL SKIMAN ASAP. IF WE GET 10 PEOPLE, IT IS A GO. DON’T BUY YOUR AIR UNTIL SKIMAN GIVES YOU THE GO AHEAD. I WILL HOPEFULLY GET 10 PEOPLE QUICKLY. IF NOT, OH WELL…. Gave it a shot, anyway!
