Skiing

Powder Skiingfor every level

Winter Park is one of Skiman’s top three American resorts! This place is fantastic. They have the most snow of any resort in Colorado currently with more on the way. There is skiing for every level. The town of Winter Park is small enough to be user-friendly and big enough to offer plenty of dining, drinking, and shopping choices. We will be staying in 1 bedroom condos complete with kitchens, two per condo. The condos are a 2 block walk from the town center and are on the free bus line for the 10 minute ride to/from the ski hill.

Getting from / to ...

Denver

Kitchen ExampleWinter Park is 2 hours from Denver. We will charter a private bus for our group to take us to/from. Once there, we will not need wheels. The cost of this transport is not included in the package and will be determined once we know how many are going. Guesstimate: @$40 per person.

The air: We are flying from Phoenix because the price was considerably less than from Tucson. Also, the flights from Phoenix are more conducive to maxing out the ski time. The flight does not return from Denver until 6:40pm, so we will be able to ski almost a full day on 2/12. The flight schedule is perfect, the flights are non-stop, and we got a great group rate on the flight.

The schedule:
2/8/07 Lv PHX 1100a arrive den 1245p
2/12/07lv DEN 640p arrive phx 830p

Phoenix

IF we get 40 people on this tour, we will organize a Mountainview Bus to take us to/from Tucson/Phx for @ $28 a person. If we have less than that, we will all just drive to Phoenix. We can organize some car pooling.. Whatever… we will deal with that later.. The MAIN thing is that these flights are perfect times, they are non-stop, and Skiman got a rippin’ deal on them. Don’t look a gift horsie in the mouth. Jump on this.

Tucson

If you want to do this, it is possible. US Air has one combo of flights that will mesh with our Phoenix flight times, but the cost is $141 more. Call if you want this and we can work it out. But you MUST use only a flight that has matching times with our Phoenix flights.

Copper Mountain

Winter Park4 days of skiing not enough? Then you can join us for 4 more at Copper Mountain! You can do this trip after your 4 days in Winter Park or you can do it as a standalone, flying into Denver on the 12th and meeting Skiman at the airport to start your Copper trip. Copper is also on Skiman’s favorite places lists. It is an amazing place to ski and stay. First class all the way, baby!

4 nights ski in/ski out luxury hotel at base of lifts right in the village of Copper. You won’t drive anywhere for 4 days!

Bee Line lift pass for 4 days, which allows you to skip any lift lines and move quickly thru the express line!

Cost: see above
