French Alps Ski WeekWe love Brides les Bains and have nothing but fond memories from our visit there two years ago with 200 of our friends. 3 Vallees is the best ski resort we skied, in terms of size, terrain, and quality of facilities. It was so great we decided to repeat it after only 2 years, something we have never done before. We cannot wait to get back to this magnificent complex of resorts with skis on our feet.
In June, 2007, Skiman and Lynn visited our good friends Christophe and his wife, Delphine, owners of the Amelie and La Vanoise hotels in the charming village of Brides les Bains. They told us that our groups were the most fun groups they had ever had and were very excited about seeing us again. Simply put, they loved our Morningstar skiers, and they asked us to say hello and welcomed you back to their hotels. We visited all our hotels and added a new one to our offerings, a charming 120 year old mansion that was turned into a hotel 15 years ago.
We love the village of Brides les Bains. It is small and untouristic, truly a French village without the condo hype and ugly purpose-built hotels/condos. It is only a 20 minute gondola ride away from the base of Meribel, which connects you to one of the biggest ski complexes in the world: Meribel, Courcheval, and Val Thorens.
Of course, we had to visit our favorite castle restaurant! With Christophe and Delphine, we had dinner with our friends at the Chateau Feisson, a 13th century rebuilt castle converted into a gourmet restaurant. We took 170 people there on our last visit; of course, we shall go back in March 2008 with you!
Bottom line: the village is the same as our last visit, the mountains are just as huge, and if we get even half as much snow as we got in 2006 (six feet of new!), it will be an unreal ski week!

Magnificent mountains, flowers and lakes. and rustic old churches make the 3 Vallees region a very special place to visit. These landscape photos taken on our Summer ’07 scouting trip capture a bit of the magic of the French Alps. |

| 20 minutes from our hotel is the Chateau Fesson, a restored 14th century castle, now a gourmet restaurant. In 2006, we took 180 people there for some of the best food on the planet. Of course, we had to go back again this past summer! Of course, we shall offer this amazing experience to you again in 2008!
