Paris, Lisbon and Trois Vallees, France March 2006

Ski VacationsTwo hundred Morningstar skiers invaded France and skied the biggest ski region in the world in March 2006. SIX FEET of new snow greeted us and it was a 13 day long powder fest. The skiing was as good as it gets and EVERYONE loved the skiing there. The photos below are from our skiing treks to Meribel, Courcheval, Val Thorens, La Meneure, Val d'Isere, and Les Arcs/ La Plagne. Many of the photos were taken during the backcountry guided ski days enjoyed by the expert groups.

To add to our enjoyment were 3 night extension trips to Paris and Lisbon. It was a wonderful trip and Skiman and Lynn thank all of you who made it happen! Here's a bet: we will have just as much fun next year in Europe 2007!

Special thanks to Jim Behra, Monoboard "Big Daddy" David Bruce, Lance and Billie Collier, Beth and Gary Godfrey, Ski Colonel Hank Rilling, the Egolfs, the Johnsons, and many other Morningstar people for some of the photos displayed here. Good shootin!

Dan the Skiman had THE BEST time in 3 Vallees with our 200 friends. 5 feet of fresh powder, unlimited terrain, lots of fun (and crazy) skiers.. It was magnifique. One of 950 lifts we had access to..Skiman checks out a ridge line he is about to hike to 'earn some turns' in untracked powder..Spectacular terrain everywhere..Jim at end of hard hike, about to have the backcountry run of his life.. Guide Philippe and Craig choose a route in the backcountry.. Exutation! Made it to the top.
